QA Analyst (Security & Penetration Testing)

Project-Based

We are seeking a skilled Project-Based QA Analyst with a strong background in Security and Penetration Testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive security assessments, ethical hacking exercises, and supporting backend and API testing. This role involves executing security assessments, conducting ethical hacking exercises, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the highest security standards are integrated into the application system.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in penetration testing, a keen eye for identifying vulnerabilities, and a proactive approach to recommending and implementing effective mitigation strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct ethical hacking exercises on web-based applications.

  • Perform in-depth security assessments and risk analysis.

  • Identify, exploit, and document vulnerabilities, providing comprehensive reports to stakeholders (VAPT)

  • Develop and execute repeatable security testing processes.

  • Provide backend and API testing support.

Must Have Skills
  • 1-2 years of experience in Penetration Testing.

  • Strong experience in web application security testing.

  • Proficiency in vulnerability assessment and penetration testing techniques.

  • Familiarity with operating systems like Windows, Linux, and macOS.

  • Hands-on experience with security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO27001).

Nice to Have
  • Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Strong communication skills in English.

  • Knowledge of programming languages like Golang, Java, or C/C++.

  • Experience with Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Kubernetes, Docker).

Junior QA Engineer

As a QA Specialist at hQueue, you will help ensure the quality and reliability of software products. You will work closely with product owners and developers to define requirements, design and execute test plans, and develop automated test frameworks. Your expertise will help us deliver exceptional software quality and enhance user satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and update Test Cases, Test Reports, and Test Data

  • Prepare and execute manual and automated test scripts to ensure that the application software behaves as specified

  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with project team and stakeholders

  • Coordinate with developers and product teams to support necessary features and modifications.

  • Handle testing for both frontend and backend systems.

  • Propose solutions to deficiencies that arise from the testing process

Must Have Skills
  • 2-3 years of experience in Software Testing

  • Familiarity with Agile processes and testing methodologies.

  • Experience with various types of software applications, including web and mobile.

  • Ability to perform functional, regression, and integration testing.

  • Experience in writing detailed test plans and cases, and accurately describing defects.

  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Fast learner, collaborative team player with multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Solid understanding of the software development life cycle, testing methodologies, and quality control.

Nice to Have
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Proficiency in Automation Testing

  • Familiarity with Jira.

  • Fluent spoken and written communication in English.

Fullstack Technical Lead

Standardize technology, solve complex problems, and lead integrations as Fullstack Technical Lead at hQueue. You'll make strategic build vs. buy vs. reuse decisions, design & develop solutions, and bridge the gap between business and technical sides. Your leadership will drive system integrations, performance monitoring, and process optimization, collaborating closely across the company.

Key Responsibilities
Must Have Skills
  • Assist CTO's office in standardizing technology directions, build vs buy vs reuse decisions, and Tool evaluations.

  • Describe, design, develop and manage the solution engineering in relation to specific business problems.

  • Divide complex processes into multiple simple subprocesses

  • Plan and manage system integrations

  • Conduct and monitor system/resource performance and utilizations

  • Bridge the gap between business requirements and technical solutions.

  • Collaborate with the team for improvements and process optimization.

  • Collaborate closely with other company functions, onboard new engineers effectively so that they are engaged and productive as soon as possible

Nice to Have
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher, major in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related degrees

  • 5 to 7 years of professional experience in software development.

  • Working experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, GCP, and Azure

  • Comfortable learning new programming languages and able to switch from one to another smoothly

  • DevOps advocate is a plus

  • Extensive scripting, system and database administration experience in PostgreSQL

  • Extensive software development experience on Front and Backend using JAVA Framework and Scripting, KAFKA, PHP - Laravel, GoLang (nice to have)

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong acumen in developing and implementing new technologies.

  • Knowledgeable on Deployment processes and practices using GIT, GITHUB

  • Exposure to different kinds of build methodologies

  • Eagerness to seek out opportunities for automation
